Experts suggest that the situation it’s part of a scam called “brushing” in which third-party merchants create fake transactions and complete them with tracking numbers and confirmations that the packages have been received.

I received a small plastic mailer today with an empty cover plastic bag inside! SCAM!

Received an envelope with an empty clear plastics bag inside from some scammer named Grmando Oteroy ( sounds fake). What do we have to do to get rid of these scammers on FB?
