they asked for me to send the remaining treats yo them for testing. Supposedly they were fine!

My dog ate one of the Dreambones treats. She immediately became ill. She vomited and started bleeding rectally. She was in the vet hospital for a week with IV fluids and vitamin K to clot her blood. She weighed 18 pounds prior to this incident and after, weighed 14 pounds. I contacted Spectrum Brands. They asked for me to send the Lot and Batch numbers from the package. I did. They asked me to send them the remaining treats, I did. They claimed they did a quality test and there were no issues. My vet bill was $1,000 and my dog nearly died!  | Symptoms: Bloody Stool

She began to have diarrhea 3 days ago after eating the first Dream bone. We didn't relate the problem. She got a second one the next day and the diarrhea continued for 3 days. My multi poo dog has been eating Dream bone dog treats for several years. She has eaten just about every one they have made. She loves peanut butter and most of them are made with peanut butter. She was getting sick all the time. She was peeing and pooping blood. She was … See More
getting UTI’s constantly. We would no more then get her well and it would happen again.Finely our vet asked us to see if there was a recall on anything we were feeding her.I looked up her treats and sure enough every Dream bone she had consumed was on a recall. The vet said her blood work came back with ecoli in her blood. It’s been several months now we stopped feeding her Dream Bones and she is back to herself for the most part. These treats should be taken off the market they made our little fur baby sick. And left untreated she could have died.If I could sue for her pain and suffering as well as a very expensive vet bill I would. But if nothing else I would want to see every treat that Dream Bone sells off the market. So pet owners please look up every thing you feed your fur babies with because you could be poisoning them and not know it.  | Symptoms: Bloody Stool

my baby very sick in so many ways she has choking problems she has been having blood in her poop and is deathly sick now. Remind you at the end of the day I don't have anyone else she is it. I hold on to her and she's very spoiled and is why I wake up and work and she's my world. I had her mom 10 years and I didn't know that it was the treats. I let her eat as much of them as 30 in day and I feel aweful and this company is wrong and I am not going to stop until something is done about it I just really am in shock. My mom called 911 even one day she was choking. I could not imagine the thought of losing her. I've had her serviced and I've lost twins and she is a child and every single pet parents in the world is about to get the truth of this place because it's terrible and dreambone shouldn't be doing this. At almost $20 a bag at that. This place needs to be stopped and not all people can always afford the vet and struggle everyday and lives are hard enough without the worry and deaths of our pets.i can't even believe people are doing this seriously.  | Symptoms: Bloody Stool

Dreambone Dog Treats, Nampa, Idaho, USA

I have been giving my dogs dream bones since I found them. They love them and I love that they were rawhide free. I had no idea that the issue with my little dogs could be caused by them until reading similar stories. I have 3 chihuahuas. … See More
The first thing was when I noticed my oldest dog's bleeding rectum. It almost poured out. The vet said to watch him because it could be a ruptured anal gland. I found it odd to be that when the blood had zero signs of stool in it. His hemorrhaging stopped that evening and he did better with no follow up. The middle dog who is my companion dog I woke up to being extremely sick. Lethargic and just cried when getting close to her. She couldn't get off my pillow. I rushed her to the emergency vet and have never been treated so horrible by anyone. My fear for her and being without her was extreme. He didn't like that at all. I left and asked they call me as soon as anything was found out. When I called that late afternoon I realized that they closed overnight. I panicked at the thought of her being there alone, scared, and sick all night. The Dr never would call me back. I showed up 5 min to close to find him sitting doing nothing. I took a picture yet the vet told me he was too busy to call. He was irate with me for showing up unannounced. He said she was extremely sick and would not likely make it. When I asked what was wrong he said he didn't know I showed up take her elsewhere. I was already at the emergency vet? He walked out of the room and never told me what was wrong or done. They said she had extreme white blood count and dehydration. They gave her a shot of antibiotics and fluid and chargedmeover $600. The next morning I called her regular vet and have had to take her back every 2 weeks for 2 months. They don't know what is going on. I am on disability and with very limited funds. I am not loosing my house of 11 years because of money spent. Never having enough to have her uthinized or surgery. Repeat visits have been my only option. Care credit says I don't have enough or reliable income for a loan over services. I have been on disability for 14 years. I am now calling my vet to ask about dream bone issues with other pets. I feel like these have almost killed 1 dog and slowly killing another. I wish they would make this information public where they still sell them and continued to the whole time there has been concern. 😭😭

I will provide more information after hearing from the vet.  | Symptoms: Bloody Stool, Fatigue, Dehydration
