1 year ago source canada.ca

Recall notice

Arizona, United States

The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) announced the recall of Divinity and MAC from Grow Sciences and Gelato 41 from Soothing Options due to possible contamination with Aspergillus, a fungus that can cause allergic reactions or infection, usually in people already sick with something else. To date, no illnesses have been reported.

The recalled products are:
- Cultivator: Grow Sciences, Product: Divinity, Batch Number: H.DI230329.A11, Product Type: Plant, Trim
- Cultivator: Grow Sciences, Product: MAC , Batch Number: H.MA230324.A02, Product Type: Plant, Trim
- Cultivator: Grow Sciences, Product: MAC , Batch Number: H.MA230402.A06, Product Type: Plant, Trim
- Cultivator: Grow Sciences, Product: Gelato 41 , Batch Number: 23667, Product Type: Concentrates and Extracts

Symptoms range from asthma or cold-like symptoms to fever and chest pain, among many others.

Patients who have purchased potentially contaminated products should not ingest, inhale, or otherwise consume them and should dispose of them.

ADHS Laboratory auditors were made aware of errors in testing results, leading to potentially false negative results for contaminants.

In case you are experiencing symptoms such as those described before, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
