Tempo USA has announced a recall of Ambiano Electric Pressure Cookers due to a potential burn hazard. The pressure-cooker lid can be opened before sufficient steam pressure has been released, causing hot contents to escape and posing a risk of burn injuries to consumers. The recall affects units sold at ALDI stores nationwide in the United States from January 2016 to December 2019. The issue arises from the lid opening before steam pressure is fully released.AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Ambiano Electric Pressure Cookers
- The recall includes models 93550 (KY-318B), 96775 (KY-318A), and 98527 (6L-PC)
- Available in six-quart or eight-quart capacities.
- The brand name Ambiano is displayed on the front and the model number is on the bottom label.
- Approximately 46,660 units are affected.
The recall was initiated on October 9, 2025, following reports of 11 incidents, including eight severe burn injuries.
