The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning about certain lots of Darwin’s Natural Pet Products due to Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The products, made by Arrow Reliance, Inc., are sold online via a subscription service in the USA. Five samples tested positive for Salmonella and a sixth sample tested positive for both Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes. The FDA has recommended a recall of all six lots, but as of now, Arrow Reliance, Inc. has not issued a recall.The affected products are Darwin’s Natural Selections Antibiotic & Grain-Free Chicken Recipe for Cats and Dogs. They are sold in frozen 2-pound packages. The specific lots include:

FDA advises consumers to keep checking Darwin’s Natural Selection Antibiotic & Grain-Free products for the affected lot numbers prior to feeding to pets. If consumers have any pet food on the list below, they are advised to return it to where they purchased it. Do not feed it to your pets. Do not donate the food.
