Following severe weather that rolled through the area early Thursday evening several communities are seeing power outages. Wisconsin Public Service is reporting multiple communities without power: Easton: 576 customers affected Hewitt: 290 customers affected Plover: 121 customers affected Wausau: 281 customers affected Weston: 103 customers affected
Winter weather in north central Wisconsin is causing power outages for some areas. The Wisconsin Public Service is reporting outages for almost 2,000 customers in Langlade County and hundreds more in other areas.
After strong storms rolled through the area Wednesday night, Wisconsin Public Service is reporting more than 48,000 people are without power throughout their entire service area as of Thursday morning.
1) Employees are required to work with confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, exposing employees to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. 2) Employees exhibiting symptoms such as but not limited to vomiting and nausea are not sent home, potentially exposing employees to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Wisconsin Public Service Corporation is reporting a power outage to 4360 people in the Wausau area. The outage started just after 1:30 Monday afternoon.
20,000 WPS customers, 8,000 CWEC customers without power due to severe weather. The largest outage as of 7:30 a.m. was affecting nearly 6,600 customers in Wausau.
The employer is not implementing adequate safety practices to protect its employees from the spread of SARS-CoV-2 such as, but not limited to: 1. Increasing the frequency of cleaning commonly touched surfaces; 2. Sanitizing affected areas after employees have reportedly tested positive; 3. Employees are not quarantining

The employer is not following OSHA Guidance for protection against the SARS CoV-2 virus, which is the cause of COVID-19, in that they are not providing respiratory protection and gloves to their employees to help limit the potential spread of COVID-19 while at the workplace.
