Thousands of Dominion Energy customers across Virginia, including in Hampton Roads, reported power outages late Thursday night into Friday morning, Apr 12 after strong storms moved through the commonwealth. According to Dominion's outage map, more than 6,100 customers in the Hampton Roads region were affected.

A power outage was reported in areas of Downtown and Olde Hampton near Virginia Air and Space Science Center in Hampton Wednesday morning. According to Dominion Energy's outage map about 1700 customers were affected by the outage. Power has already been restored to the area.
