Power line brought down by a tractor-trailer snagged a low-hanging line. Several Dominion Energy customers in West Ashley were still without power, according to the outage map.
(1.) The employer has not implemented good hygiene and infection control practices including social distancing, temperature checks, frequent and thorough hand washing, provide mask, gloves, maintain housekeeping like routine cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment for the employees.

A power outage is impacting buildings on the College of Charleston campus and the Charleston County Public Library on Monday morning.A downed powerline is affecting buildings north of the St. Philip Street/ Calhoun Street intersection. It happened just before 8:50 a.m.
(1) A COVID-19 pandemic plan has not been developed and implemented for employees to include employee wellness checks, disinfecting and sanitizing, social distancing, personal protective equipment, informing employees of possible exposure, employee return to work and employee training.

Dominion Energy is investigating the source of a power outage that left hundreds of people in the dark on the peninsula.

1,499 people are currently without power in the area between Paul Cantrell Boulevard and Ashley River Road.
Their website estimates power to be restored by 9:30 p.m.
