As of about 7:35 p.m. on Thursday, Apr 11, about 1,200 Rhode Island Energy customers had lost power after a powerful storm brought rain and strong wind in the area. According to the outage map, power has been restored to the area.'

Rhode Island Energy reported about 1,600 customers without power statewide. According to the outage map, power has been restored for most of the customers affected, and in Connecticut, Eversource reported about 2,000 outages. Power has been restored to the area.
