A massive power outage is affecting large areas of Greensboro according to Duke Energy. The outages appear to have started sometime around 2:25 p.m. on Sunday and Duke Energy currently lists 1,678 people who are currently without power.

Power is out for more than 3,000 customers after a crash.Police have closed down the 3900 block of Spring Garden Street, near Pomona and West Wendover Avenue as they work on clearing the scene and repairing the damaged equipment.
