National Grid responded to a tree that fell on power lines, causing around 17-hundred people to lose power in Hoosick Falls. Power was restored to the surrounding community at around 11:30 this morning.
The largest concentration of outages was reported just before 7 p.m., with 1,500 customers without power in the Hoosick Falls area.
Other large outages reported throughout Monday afternoon included more than 1,100 customers near Waterford and Halfmoon and more than 110 customers in Scotia.
