The city of West Plains and Missouri Department of Natural Resources issued a citywide boil water advisory. The advisory issued is due to high turbidity in a city well and a water main break Monday morning.
A one vehicle accident caused a power outage on Porter Wagoner Boulevard in West Plains on Thursday morning. The outage is effecting a few business on the road including Snappy Mart, Century 21, and Pizza Shack.
All patrons of the Public Water Supply District #2 from the Junction Hill System will no longer have to boil their water. This boil was put into place on April 1st and encompassed the Junction Hill water system.
