Storms swept through mid-Missouri early Tuesday morning, leaving thousands in Chariton County without power. More than 1,600 customers were without power in the county as of 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. Evergy reported at least three separate outages in Brunswick, totaling 848 customers, according to its outage map.
