Ashby were without electricity, where police said trees were blocking roads in some areas. And 800 customers in Winchendon were in the dark as well. Eversource was reporting about 26,000 outages, with the Amherst/Merrimack area particularly hard hit. Unitil is reporting another 70 outages, and New Hampshire Electric Co-op another 3,200 or so customers without electricity. Central Maine Power has 19,000 customers without electricity.
