A car crash knocked out power to much of the Blue Hill peninsula on Wednesday 9th October afternoon. As of 6:30 p.m. 8,331 customers were without power. That included nearly all Versant customers in Brooksville, Brooklin, Deer Isle, Penobscot, Sedgwick and Stonington.
