On the morning of November 9th employee was told to get in an excavator and run it or go home after the employee 2 days before had been sick in it for the last 2 weeks and the employer finally told him to stay home and quarantine.
The employer told the employee to clean the cab of excavator themselves, 2 days later on the 11th the employee came down with symptoms. On the 16th that employee's test came back positive for COVID-19. Other employees were not informed by the company but by that employee himself on November 25th. The company was granted a million dollar COVID-19 stimulus check which is supposed to help pay employees that are off of work due to positive COVID-19 or exposure to COVID-19. There have been multiple employees that have had to quarantine for two weeks over the past year. They were either without pay or the employer told them to draw unemployment under lack of work. They are wrongfully covering up the company's COVID-19 positive cases because they put the stimulus check money into their own pockets. They are risking employee's and employee's family health over money by not bringing to knowledge the confirmed cases.
