Officials in Edinburgh are investigating a power outage. EPD reported that the outage covers a large portion of the city and buildings along US Route 31. Police are encouraging those that may be traveling in the area to “take their time” and be careful.

to each class a teacher is in charge of. Before the return of these students, many teachers were unable to keep the students socially distanced and now it is even more of a challenge. With more students in the halls and classes, there is a greater risk of spreading Covid-19, causing more strain on teachers and paraprofessionals, and putting more at risk for severe health problems for those with underlying conditions. Sporting events are still occurring, but those in attendance are not required to wear face coverings or social distance. There are signs posted reminding and stating it is required for all to wear masks and social distance, but these rules are not enforced by administration. Administration has stated that they will not switch to hybrid or virtual education unless told to do so by Governor Eric Holcomb, even if and when cases increase.
