Operators are not trained in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks. Operators have run vehicles into industrial storage racks and the compactor and frequently back up onto pallets on the floor. Employees are exposed to struck-by hazards. Applicable OSHA Standard: 29 CFR 1910.178 3. The warehouse floor is cluttered with broken pallets and garbage, creating tripping and vehicular hazards. Applicable OSHA Standard: 29 CFR 1910.22
