On Monday 4th, 21st Street (northbound) from 12th Avenue to 11th Avenue is currently closed as Avista Utilities works to restore power to roughly 129 customers. A single-vehicle accident caused the electric outage when a car left the roadway and struck a pole.

On Monday 26th, the power line fell onto Yellowstone Avenue between Linden Avenue and Chubbuck Road around 4:20 p.m. during snowy conditions. Idaho Power reports that the downed line resulted in about 120 of its Chubbuck customers losing power.
