A power outage left 2,105 PG&E customers in the dark Monday afternoon. The outage impacted the Penn Valley and Rough and Ready areas of Nevada County, stretching from Wildwood West Drive to West Drive and Meadow View Way to Oak Ridge Road.

The Tuesday outage impacting those in Penn Valley, Rough and Ready, Lake Wildwood and Smartsville areas was updated to 8,125 residences. That outage was reported at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday and is expected to be restored by 5 p.m.
