As of 10:45 p.m. Friday, Apr 26, the Craighead Electric Cooperative outage map showed nearly 900 customers affected in Craighead County. Over 600 of the outages were in the Brookland area. Entergy Arkansas reported over 250 outages in the Marmaduke area in Greene County.

The outage happened Thursday 7th evening, and according to a post from Craighead Electric Cooperative, it was due to a fault on a large transmission line. Residents of Lake City, Brookland, and Farville, among others, were those who were affected.
