Since the beginning of the pandemic normal depot policy regarding positive COVID cases has been to contact Industrial Hygiene as soon as the positive cases are reported so they can fumigate or spray the work area. Not only did Industrial Hygiene not spray the day the positive cases were reported to the supervisor, the area was sprayed at 0700 Thursday, the following day. We reported to work at 0600, and were instructed to go outside at 0700, wait in our cars while the area was sprayed and return to the work area in 30 minutes. In prior instances we were told to wait two hours before returning to the shop. 3. At 0930 on the same day the shop was fumigated, the day after we had two positive COVID-19 cases, the supervisor assembled 15 employees into a small conference room for annual training that lasted 15 minutes, with another group of 15 employees immediately following for the same annual training, followed by a group of 10 employees for the same training. Ten minutes after the last training was completed, the supervisor called all 40 employees into the break room for some further annual training. The supervisor did not wear a mask. Some of the employees wore masks during the training, but many did not. The size of the conference room and the break room did not allow the employees to be appropriately socially distanced nor six feet apart.
