Xcel Energy reported power outages impacting about 10,819 customers in Colorado on Monday morning May 6. The most affected counties are Jefferson and Boulder. The most affected cities are Arvada and Westminster with about 3,092 customers impacted. Boulder has 1,387 customers affected, Golden has 3,386 customers affected, Lakewood has 889 customers affected, and Longmont has 425 customers impacted. The estimated time for restoration is 3:45 p.m. The cause of the outage seems to be related to the high winds in the area. Crews are working to restore power to the area.
