Springfield, 65803 Missouri, United States

Power outages were reported after a strong storm knocked down trees in a north Springfield neighborhood on Monday morning, May 20. Large trees fell on vehicles near the John B. Hughes Apartment complex in the area of High and Columbia. About 1,700 customers were impacted. Another large tree fell onto the roadway near Division Street near Missouri Avenue around 6:30 a.m. According to Springfield City Utilities, power was restored to most customers by 9:00 a.m.
