There were about 1,000 customers in Fergus Falls without power due to the severe thunderstorm according to Ottertail Power Company. The largest area that reported power outages covered from North Tower Road to North Cascade Street, and between Beech Avenue and Stanton Avenue, with over 1,300 customers without power in that area at its peak.
