Scattered storms are rolling across the Carolinas Thursday morning, leaving thousands of Duke Energy customers without power. Strong winds moved through Chesterfield County around 8 a.m. Thursday, April 11, taking a few large trees down, knocking down power lines. Duke Energy reported more than 900 customers are without power in the Chesterfield area. More than 400 customers lost power across Charlotte. In North Carolina, Wake County is impacted with 2,000 customers in Wendell, there are about 1,000 customers affected in the Edgemont Estates area, and about 1,000 customers affected in Knightdale.Outage link: outagemap.duke-energy.com/
