More than 1,600 customers were without power in Waterloo, MidAmerican Energy reported at 12:04 p.m. Monday, May 20. The company estimated power should be restored by 2:30 p.m. It’s unclear what prompted the outage. However, according to the outage map, power has been restored to the area.
