More than 2,000 NYSEG customers in Corning lost power on Saturday afternoon, Oct 19. According to NYSEG, a total of 2,011 customers in the Town of Corning and the City of Corning were without power shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 19. Most of the affected customers were located in the area from First Street to Fifth Street and Washington Street to Steuben Street.
