More than 120 Romans were without power around Urbandale Parkway on Monday after a vehicle crashed into a ground-level transformer, according to National Grid and city fire officials. An adult male crashed into the transformer at 7:24 a.m. Monday, sparking a small fire in the vehicle. Firefighters responded and doused the flames. No major injuries were reported.
