The Jefferson Davis Electric Cooperative has announced two planned power outages. The first will be Tuesday, Oct. 22, when the Fulton substation will be shut down starting at 8 a.m. for approximately six hours due to power supplier maintenance. Areas affected will be W. Creole Hwy., Trosclair Road, Marshall Street and everything East of the ferry. The second outage will take place Wednesday, Oct. 23. It will start at 9 a.m. and last for approximately four hours. This outage will affect those in Grangerville, Chesson’s, Hackett’s Road and south to Gibbstown bridge.Outage link: www.jdec.org/safety/outage-center/
