A series of severe storms rolled through northeast Kansas on Tuesday morning, Apr 16. According to Evergy’s website, 899 customers were out of electricity as of 8:49 a.m. in an area to the south and southeast of Topeka. Evergy’s power outage map showed around 150 customers were without electricity as of 8:51 a.m. Tuesday in an area just southeast of S.W. 37th and Gage in southwest Topeka. Outages were reported in south and west Topeka as well as in the Pauline, Wakarusa, Carbondale, Overbrook; and Globe areas.Outage link: outagemap.evergy.com/
