Volunteer Energy Cooperative (VEC) scheduled a planned power outage on Friday, April 19, 2024, starting at 11:30 p.m. in the Ten Mile area of Roane and Meigs counties. The outage will affect 6,400 customers from the Ten Mile Substation and will last approximately 6 hours. The purpose of the outage is to work safely in the area on upgrades.
