Southwest 29th Street, Topeka, Kansas, United States

Power outages were reported early Monday across a large area of southwest Topeka. According to Evergy’s outage map, 2,228 customers were without electricity as of 6:38 a.m. Monday in an area bounded roughly by S.W. 29th Street on the south, S.W. Wanamaker Road on the west, S.W. 17th Street on the north, and S.W. Oakley Avenue on the east. Another outage was reported in North Topeka, on N.W. Norris Street on the north, N.W. Van Buren on the west, N.W. Morse on the north and N.E. Jefferson Street on the east. A total of 276 customers were reported to be without power in that outage as of 6:38 a.m. Monday.
