A vehicle knocked down power poles along South Virginia Street on Saturday morning, May 18 blocking traffic and knocking out power to almost 2,700 NV Energy customers. The incident happened at about 9:12 a.m. on South Virginia Street near South Hills Drive. A flatbed was hauling a road grader when the grader snagged the power lines.
