A large power outage knocked out electricity in Isle of Wight on Thursday. According to Dominion Energy, about 1,700 customers were without power in Smithfield as of 9:55 a.m. This is down from around 4,200 outages at 9 a.m. Dominion crews were working to restore power to the area.Outage link: outagemap.dominionenergy.com/external/default.html
