There is a planned power outage scheduled for Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) customers in Shelton to allow for maintenance at the substation that serves the community. The outage is scheduled for Sept. 8 from 2:00 to 6 p.m. This outage will allow field crews to switch the system over to a mobile substation, in order for them to complete maintenance on the permanent substation.Outage link: onlineaccount.nppd.com/Portal/outeroutage.aspx
