Around 3:38 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 Seattle City Light had about 11,000 customers without power after an equipment failure. The outage started around 1:00 p.m. and impacted the International District, Yesler Terrace, and North Beacon Hill neighborhoods. By 4:23 p.m., the number of customers without power dropped to over 8,000 customers impacted.
