Approximately 5,340 PG&E customers have been without power in the Santa Cruz Mountains since around 10 monday morning, with San Lorenzo Valley Unified School district campuses also impacted by the outage.

Full power restoration is expected by 8 p.m. or earlier for residents in Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Felton, Mount Hermon and Scotts Valley.
