A squirrel was to blame for a power outage affecting about 2,560 customers Thursday morning in west Abilene.Within two minutes of 8:25 a.m., four outage areas were reported by AEP:
South Seventh Street and Pioneer Drive;
Hartford and Andy streets;
Winters Freeway and South 14 Street; and
South 14th Street and Pioneer Drive.
