Earlier this morning, as many as 2,000 residents in Richmond were without power as the storm began rolling through the area, bringing straight-line winds. As of 11:00 a.m., over 3,000 Evergy customers in Chariton and Howard counties were without power, along with about 190 electric cooperative customers.
