A crash Friday evening has left about 2,000 Cary residents without power. According to authorities, a single driver of a black Tahoe crashed into a telephone pole around 6:38 p.m. at 140 Southeast Maynard Road, knocking it over. All northbound lanes of Southeast Maynard Road near Reed Street are closed at this time. One southbound lane of Southeast Maynard Road is also closed.Outage link: outagemap.duke-energy.com/
