A power outage was reported in Huntsville on Friday morning, August 16. The outage was caused by a contractor striking a utility pole on Quietdale Avenue. According to Huntsville Utilities, the outage impacted customers from Chapman Mountain south to Pratt Avenue and from Meridian Street east to Bankhead Parkway.
