Strong overnight winds have caused some hazardous situations this morning, Monday, January 3rd, in Whatcom and Skagit Counties. Puget Sound Energy says that crews are on scene of an outage in Bellingham’s Puget neighborhood, where about 1200 people woke up without power. PSE crews are currently working to restore power there and they estimate power will be restored around 11 a.m. today.
