Plumas Sierra Rural Electric is reporting that 1,936 customers are without power this morning, Dec. 26. The outage is affecting those east of Portola. Residents in the Sierra Valley are reporting a foot of fresh snow with drifts up to 3 feet. Update: mostly restored by 9am
