AEP Texas reported power outages impacting 14,643 customers in their service area on Monday afternoon, May 13. The outages have been triggered by severe weather in the area. The most affected area is Port Lavaca in Calhoun County with 5,794 customers without power. Other areas affected include Victoria, Poteet, Seadrift and Nixon. The estimated time for restoration is between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. CT. for some of the most affected areas.
