More than 5,000 AEP Ohio customers are out of power in the Berwick area on the East Side and another 1,569 have no electricity in southern Delaware County northeast of the Polaris area as strong winds and heavy rains blew through the area earlier this evening. Another 1,826 customers in Lancaster have no power because of scattered outages across the city, according to AEP Ohio's outage map. The estimated restoration time in the Berwick area is 9:30 p.m. and in southern Delaware County, 8:30 p.m. No time has been given in Lancaster.Outage link: outagemap.aepohio.com.s3.amazonaws.com/external/default.html
