DTE Energy is reporting more than 9,500 homes and businesses without power, as of 5:45 p.m. On the west side of the state, Consumers Energy is reporting around 11,000 customers without power. Wayne County appeared to be the hardest hit area, with more than 4,100 customers out of power, as of 5 p.m. The Downriver communities of Allen Park, Taylor and Southgate had the largest number of outages.
