Pleasant View, 40769 Kentucky, United States

A power outage is scheduled to occur in the Pleasant View and Emlyn communities of Whitley County and over the state line in the Jellico area. According to The Tennessee Valley Authority, the outage is necessary to replace aging equipment inside the Jellico substation beginning at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, and could last until around 8 a.m. Sunday morning, Dec. 3.
