A line of quick-moving storms early Friday knocked out power to thousands of homes and businesses in New Jersey. More than 4,000 customers were waiting for power to be restored as of 8 a.m. with more than 2,000 of the outages in Plainfield and Elizabeth, according to PSE&G.Outage link: outagecenter.pseg.com/external/default.html
