An estimated 1,600 Old Town customers were experiencing a power outage. The outage comes after excessive rainfall earlier this afternoon. According to Dominion Energy’s outage map, it could take until 8:00 p.m. to restore power to customers affected. An outage at S. Washington Street and Wolfe Street affected 627 customers.
